Other activities that we enjoyed this week – Mika et Caroline
With the mounds of information we have learnt from this trip many good memories and experiences have been formed. Thanks to our teachers Madame Rundle, Madame Boshier, Madame Lye and Madame Russell, we have been shown amazing aspects of Noumea and are very excited to share our experiences with you.
When landing in Noumea, we were overwhelmed by the warm weather and sunny skies with temperatures reaching 28 degrees (il fait chaud). After long days of adventure and activities it was always refreshing to swim in the beautiful beach outside our hotel and in the hotel’s pool. We were also lucky enough to swim at Amédée island where we saw dozens of turtles, fish and sharks. Despite having applied lots of sunscreen, some of us experienced a un mega coup de Soleil ( a big sunburn) !!!!
While in Noumea we were to able to eat French food constantly. Buying crepes and croc monsieurs, baguettes and lots of fromage for lunch. After our lessons at Creipac we were able to order in French feeling beyond excited. Our French has certainly improved! Not only have we learnt more French we have also made many new friends or made closer friends across and within year groups. As our trip to a close we were lucky enough to be able to shop which girls are very good at! Ending a perfect trip to Noumea, it was definitely worth coming!
