Bonjour, on the 25th of September Roseville year 9 and 10 French hopped on a plane to Noumea, New Caledonia. We were served breakfast containing muesli and yoghurt along with sausage, bacon, beans and a muffin.
We mustn’t forget when Madame Lye needed to freshen up after bawling her eyes out watching ‘Me Before You”. Most people’s least favourite part of the flight was the landing as it was quite bumpy. We arrived at the hotel a bit early, so we left our suitcases in the lobby and went to the shops to buy lunch.
Two girls went to sushi train for lunch where the waitress assumed they spoke French and all they could do was look at each other hoping one of them understood what she said. Thankfully the waitress noticed they were not fluent in French and proceeded to speak to them in English. Today’s most used words were bonjour, oui, ca va and merci.
