Today we were at Phare Amédée, a 45 minute ferry trip away. We got off the boat to find the most beautiful white sandy beaches, with clear, still waters.

We went first to the glass bottom boat, where we watched the sea creatures move around. It was fantastique!

Then we continued on, collecting snorkelling equipment and heading out into the sparkling ocean in front of us. We saw all kinds of fish, turtles and shark-suckers, and it was très cool!

We all went to the buffet lunch after that, and we had all types of salads, hot food and desserts. The pineapple ( l’ananas) was my favourite. Then we had a beautiful dance performance, making lunch even much more fun!

We then got to split up, and take part in separate activities, such as pareo tying demonstrations, coconut tree-climbing demonstrations and photo opportunities from the top of the lighthouse.

As the day drew to a close, we said au revoir to the beautiful beaches that was Phare Amédée, and boarded the boat back to the mainland.

We all had such a good time!
